The Indian Railways has issued a preliminary notification announcing 5696 Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies across all Railway Recruitment Boards in the Employment News Paper on January 20, 2024. - Railway RRBs Recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot Pay Level is Level-2, Initial Pay ₹ 19,900/- per month.
RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years
- Maximum 30 years
- Age limit as on 1st July 2024
- Upper Age relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL), and others as per rules.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/ SCVT in specified trades.
- Alternatively, Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the mentioned trades is accepted.
- Another option is Matriculation/SSLC plus a three-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering, or a combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized institution in lieu of ITI.
- Note: A degree in the mentioned Engineering disciplines will also be acceptable in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering.
