Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate Registration-cum-Application Forms and receipts for fees, along with the requisite enclosures for each post.
Candidates should submit only one application for any post. After submitting the application online, candidates must take a printout of the registration-cum-application form and produce it along with self-attested copies of certificates/documents during the Document/Certificate verification process.

NLC Apprentice Salary / Stipend:
Graduate Apprentices: ₹ 15028/- per month

NLC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years, As per Apprentice Act 1961, Maximum age 18 years.
Residents: Only Tamil Nadu State and Puducherry state candidates are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate Apprentices:
- Possession of a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) from a Statutory University in the relevant discipline.
- Attainment of a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) from an Institution authorized to confer such a degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline.
- Successful completion of the graduate examination conducted by Professional bodies (Full time), recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the qualifications mentioned above.
- For Pharmacy: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- Holding a Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) from a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline.
- Earning a Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) from a University in the relevant discipline.
- Acquiring a Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Full time) from an Institution acknowledged by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the qualifications mentioned above.
Other Eligibility:
- Eligible candidates must have successfully completed the qualifying exam in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
- Candidates must not have attained a Post Graduate qualification.
- Candidates should not have participated in or currently be undergoing Apprenticeship Training in NLCIL or any other organization.
- Candidates must not possess one year or more of experience in any job.
- Candidates should be residents of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and the Union territories of Pondicherry and Lakshadweep.
NLC Apprentice Selection Process:
- The NCL Apprenticeship 2024 selection process will be determined by the percentage of marks achieved by candidates in their respective qualifying Diploma/ Degree programs.
